Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

We spent Turkey Day here in VA with friends - it was a great time! We had dinner over at Mike & Tina Musselman's home. There was a crowd of about 20, including the babies. Cameron got to meet Mia McIntosh (10 months), daughter of Kelly-ann & Rex, who gave Cameron a kiss on his head! I LOVE the pictures posted below...hahaha... the first shows a VERY excited Mia (Kelly-ann says she looks like she wants to eat him!) and a VERY concerned Cameron! "What is this girl thinking?" He then catches on to how cute she is in the second picture!!




Cameron received his 2-month shots last week. He was so brave! Poor thing was really upset for about 45 mins in the evening... screamed and screamed, and didn't want to EAT! After all of the fussiness, he cheered up and then slept well.

Speaking of sleeping -- he slept TEN HOURS STRAIGHT Thursday night!! Whoa! Yes - I went in his room twice to make sure he was breathing. :-) He's still pretty erratic with sleeping, but we're still getting anywhere from 4 to 8 hour stretches. If he naps well, then he sleeps well at night. I started reading Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child. What a great book! It explains so much - expecially in regard to Cameron's colic. It was recommended by friends and also Cam's pediatrician. Also recommended by our pediatrician and ME: The DVD "The Happiest Kid on the Block" which shows a soothing technique. Cameron stops crying in less than 10, usually less than 5 minutes. He still fights sleep, and rarely falls asleep on his own (huge characteristic of colicky babies). However, much improvement since we started "liquid gold!"
